Free Concert Series continues with Raun Alosi
Local fave Raun Alosi & 60 Degrees North play a mix of music at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park’s free concert on Sunday. The free event runs from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the park, 7301 E. Indian Bend Road.
Bring a blanket or chair and hear a variety of favorite local bands. Train and carousel rides are available during all concerts. Tickets are $2 each and children younger than three ride free with a paying adult. Food will also be available for purchase.
Concerts run through July 7.

City of Scottsdale “Truth in Taxation” notice
This Truth in Taxation hearing notice regarding the city of Scottsdale primary property tax levy is being published as required by Arizona state law. A public hearing on the proposed property tax levy will be held immediately prior to final budget adoption, scheduled at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 at Scottsdale City Hall.

The city of Scottsdale has selected Bruce Davis, a human resources professional with nearly 20 years of experience, to lead its human resources department. Davis has been a human resources manager for the County of Los Angeles since 2007.
