The Chief of Police Reports directly to the City Manager and is responsible for all aspects of the Scottsdale Police Department.
Chief Alan Rodbell joined the Scottsdale Police Department in 2002 as Deputy Chief of the Investigative Services Bureau. He came to Scottsdale from Montgomery County Maryland where he served as a Deputy Chief.
The Office of the Chief is comprised of the Chief of Police, the Assistant Chief of Uniformed Services, The Assistant Chief of Investigative Services, and the Assistant Chief of Administrative Services.
