Just after midnight on August 12th, SPD was called to the Allison Condos at 14145 N. 92nd Street in reference to an aggravated assault.
While the security guard was making his rounds he heard someone in the dumpster by the south side of the complex. When he approached the male and asked him what he was doing the male produced a pocket knife and swung it at the victim. The guard was struck on his forearm. The suspect approached again and was pushed away by the guard. The suspect then ran from the area towards Thompson Peak and Redfield. A search for the suspect had negative results.
The victim’s cut was treated at the scene by medics and was then released without hospitalization.
