On 06/05/12 at 5:30 Scottsdale Fire and Police were called to a fire of an abandoned structure adjacent to the canal bank just south east of Miller and Camelback Road.

The structure was slated for demolition and had fencing around it. The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes and is considered suspicious in nature. The investigation is ongoing.
