UPDATE:
On Friday, Mesa PD arrested Williams on an unrelated drug charge. Detectives were able to link evidence to this bank robbery to Williams.
ORIGINAL REPORT:
The suspect entered the Basha's store east entrance, walked the length of the store to the Chase branch, approached the open teller and presented a demand note. The teller removed an undisclosed amount of cash from drawer and gave it to the suspect. He walked out of the west entrance of Bashas and fled on foot. No vehicle seen. No injuries reported. Suspect gone on police arrival. |
