On 10/02/12 at 11:00 am the victim arrived at his home in the 6600 block of East Lewis and found a teal Honda Ridgeline pickup with Colorado plates backed into his carport. He also noticed the door leading into his home standing open. As he approached the truck two individuals ran out of his home, jumped in the truck and sped towards the victim. The victim opened fire with his own handgun striking the suspect’s windshield with multiple rounds. The truck ultimately sped off south on 66th Street at a high rate of speed.
The victim is unsure if he hit either suspect. He was not injured in the incident.
The suspect driver is a H/M, late 20's, 6', stocky build, green shirt and blue jeans. The passenger is also a H/M, late 20's, 5'9", stocky build and unknown clothing.
At 6:00 pm the (stolen) Honda was found parked near 68th Avenue and McDowell in Phoenix with no signs of the suspects.
At this time the investigation is ongoing.
