On 04/23/12 at 3:30 pm Scottsdale Fire and Police were called to the alley behind 6430 E. Calle Redondo where bushes were on fire. The fire spread to power and utility lines also but not to any structures. Homes in the immediate area were evacuated as a precaution during the fire. Salt River Project was called to the scene to restore power.

There were no injuries.
