Granite Reef-McDowell RD Revitalization

Completed in July, 2006, the new facility has almost 42,000 sq ft. More than 20
different support groups meet weekly at the center, with 38 open recreational activities,
16 scheduled card games and 48 specialty recreation classes weekly. The lunch
program serves 75 seniors Monday through Friday. Dances are held twice a week
(Thursday afternoon and Saturday night), and each dance attracts more than 100 seniors.
The center is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. For details, call (480) 312-1700.
