Scottsdale seeks citizen volunteers for bond task force

The City of Scottsdale is accepting applicants for a bond task force that will help review and prioritize potential bond projects as the city considers a future bond election.

The city is seeking nine residents for the task force. A simple application asks those interested to describe their experience serving on city boards and commissions, or with local businesses or community organizations.

Applications and instructions are available at scottsdaleaz.gov/BondTaskForce and are due June 15. Alternatively, applications can be requested by calling 480-312-2776.

Final selections for the task force will be made in July. Once membership is set, the task force is expected to meet twice monthly beginning in July and conclude their work in the spring of 2012.
