Traffic alert: Scottsdale and Thomas roads intersection closed to traffic starting 2 a.m. Sunday

Traffic alert: Scottsdale and Thomas roads intersection
closed to traffic starting 2 a.m. Sunday
The Scottsdale and Thomas roads intersection will be closed to all traffic starting at 2 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, through 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, to permit paving and striping work.
Suggested alternate routes for north- and southbound travel are 68th Street or Miller Road. For east- and westbound travel the recommended alternative routes are Osborn Road or Oak Street.
Detour routes will be marked and access to all homes and businesses near the closure area will be maintained at all times.
The 28-hour closure is needed to complete the Scottsdale Road Streetscape project. More information on the project is available at: www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Construction/ScottsdaleRd.
