Neighborhood Notification Program
In response to requests by Scottsdale citizens for updates on current participation opportunities, the City has created the Neighborhood Notification Program to help identify and obtain contact information for neighborhoods, enabling information to be provided directly to neighborhood leaders and groups.

By listing your group, the Neighborhood Notification Program becomes a vital tool in enhancing communication between your neighborhood and the City; and more importantly, between you and your neighbors.
Why should my neighborhood participate?
By listing your neighborhood, you, or a designated neighborhood contact, will receive direct, accurate and timely information about government open houses, community meetings and survey requests affecting your neighborhood. With this information, you and other neighbors can participate effectively in providing input to the City on projects and issues from a neighborhood perspective.
How do I sign-up my neighborhood?
In order to list your neighborhood, you and other nearby residents should sit down together and complete the following five simple steps:
1. You can register for this program one of two ways:

- Call (480) 312-3111 to request a form.
2. Confirm your organization type. Neighborhoods may be a Homeowner’s Association, Neighborhood Watch Group, Voluntary Neighborhood Organization, Business/Property Association, or community organization (school, church, etc.) Individual registrations are also accepted.
3. Provide additional information such as, organization name, size, boundaries, and features.
4. Identify a resident neighbor as a “Primary Contact” and identify additional neighbors as “Additional Contacts.” Contacts can be the association president or board member, a neighborhood watch captain, or any interested, active and responsible neighbor. Property managers may be listed, but only in addition to a "resident" contact.
5. Return the completed form to the address or fax number on the form.
What resources and programs are available for my neighborhood?
Here are just a few examples of the many services available to all Scottsdale neighborhoods:
- Assistance with organizing a neighborhood meeting, block party or clean up project.
- Access to City staff for neighborhood meetings on issues of interest to your neighborhood, including neighborhood organization, crime prevention and speed awareness.
- Meeting coordination and facilitation between neighborhood representatives and City representatives concerning issues of interest to your neighborhood.
- Free Neighborhood College Classes
What's Happening in My Neighborhood?
Several city departments joined forces and combined resources to provide a snapshot view of most activity that typically occurs in a neighborhood, providing real-time information about construction activity, development requests, building permits, code enforcement notices and crime activity for the last 6 months. Search results can be viewed as a list or on a map; additional information is available for nearly every item with just a click.
