Table Tennis

Horizon Park's Table Tennis is open for "drop-in use" to the public.

During regular Scottsdale Unified School District school days, Table Tennis will be unavailable Monday-Friday 1:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. due to Afterschool Program. Play may resume at 6:15 p.m.

  • Two tables will be available for use (first come, first serve)
  • Playing times: Mon-Fri, 9 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Due to safety precautions, Horizon Park will not be providing equipment. Players MUST bring their own paddles and balls.

Pickleball

There are ten pickleball courts at Horizon Park, which are available for drop in public use and are not reservable. They are free to use, and are open from sunrise until 10:30 p.m. daily.

New to the sport of Pickleball? Consider registering for one of our beginner classes, or hone your skill level through one of our intermediate classes. Parks and Recreation offers a variety of seasonal pickleball instructional classes to fit your needs.

Proper court etiquette and sportsmanship is encouraged. Court use by individuals and groups is limited to standard game format; first side scoring 11 points or leading by at least 2 points wins. This comes with a 30 minute time limit, at which time players should rotate off the court with any waiting players. Mornings are typically the busiest time for pickleball play at Horizon.

Drop-In Policy:

During most program days, participants may arrive at any time after the program begins and they may depart at any time without signing in or out.

Reserve a Sports Field:

Please complete a sport field request form to begin the process. Requests will be addressed in the order they are received. Field requests must be submitted a minimum of three business days in advance of requested use. Forms submitted online will be addressed prior to phone calls received 480-312-7527. The Sports Field Reservation office reserves designated city parks and school fields for youth / adult groups and organizations.
