The following permit/agreement forms are related to the use of Scottsdale Airport and Airpark and are provided for your convenient downloading. These documents are provided in accordance with Chapter Five - Aviation of the Scottsdale Revised Code.

Each of the forms are related to a variety of activities conducted either on the Airport or in the Airpark. Please refer to the description above each application title for the applicability to either the Airport or Airpark.

Completed forms can be sent electronically or can be printed and delivered to the Aviation Administration offices.

Aeronautical Business Permits

Airpark

The Airpark Aeronautical Business Permit is required by all persons desiring to conduct limited commercial aeronautical activity in the Scottsdale Airpark. This permit must be approved by the Aviation Director prior to conducting such activity.  Please use the following instruction sheet(s) to help guide you through the application process.

Storage Permits

The Aircraft Storage Permit - City Owned is required to store an aircraft in a tiedown that is provided by the City, such as the Delta/Terminal/Kilo tiedowns.

The Aircraft Storage Agreement - Non-City Owned is required to store aircraft at Scottsdale Airport in a location not provided directly from the City. Examples of these locations are TAC Private Hangars, Jet Aviation, Atlantic Aviation, or Signature Aviation facilities.

Aircraft Visiting Notice

The Aircraft Visiting Airpark Notice shall be completed to inform airport administration prior to non-airpark based aircraft to entering the airpark or parking at an airpark facility.

Airpark Access Permit

The Airpark Access Permit is required to base aircraft in the Scottsdale Airpark and receive access through one of the six aircraft gates. Please use the following instruction sheet(s) to help guide you through the application process.

Driving Permit

The Airport Driver/Vehicle Permit is required for all persons who have a legitimate need to drive a vehicle in the Air Operations Area.

The Airport Driver/Vehicle (Affiliate/Partner) Permit is required to access, drive upon and park a vehicle on the Scottsdale Airport property. An affiliate is a person directly under the control of a lessee, licensee, aeronautical business permittee or aircraft storage permit/agreement permittee. A tenant is a person with an approved lease, license, aeronautical business permit or aircraft storage permit/agreement at Scottsdale Airport.

Fueling Permits

The Airport/Airpark Self-fueling Permit is required to conduct self-fueling of based aircraft at the Air Commerce Center or in the airpark. Please use the following instruction sheet(s) to help guide you through the application process.

The Airport/Airpark Fuel Facility Permit is required to operate a fuel storage facility for self-fueling of based aircraft on the airport or in the airpark. Please use the following instruction sheet(s) to help guide you through the application process.

The Fuel Dispensing Facility Installation Approval form must be completed and submitted to Scottsdale Airport staff with fuel dispensing facility plans prior to installation of any fuel dispensing facility along an airpark taxilane.

Prior Permission Request

Aircraft with a maximum certificated takeoff weight  between 75,000 to 100,000 lbs. may operate at Scottsdale Airport with prior permission. A Prior Permission Request form must be completed and submitted to Airport Operations via email or by fax to 480-312-8470.

Temporary Activity Permits

The Temporary Activity Permit - Warranty Work is required for technical specialists to perform specialty aircraft maintenance/warranty work at the airport. A technical specialist is a technical representative of an aircraft manufacturer, aircraft engine manufacturer, aircraft appliance manufacturer or a non-destructive inspection specialist. Technical specialists may perform warranty work on an aircraft at Scottsdale Airport by supplying: a Temporary Activity Permit - Warranty Work, warranty authorization from OEM or other documentation indicating job is warranty work, and an email of approval from hangar operator to conduct work on their leasehold. There is also a $50 permit fee.

If your company's insurance certificate has previously been submitted and appears on the airport's webpage, the Temporary Activity Permit - Warranty Work, warranty work authorization and permit fee may be submitted directly to Airport Operations.

The Temporary Activity Permit is required to conduct special events, commercial photography or construction activity at the Airport or in the public airpark taxilane safety easements. Please allow at least 10 business days for processing of special event permits as it may require review by other city departments, like the Fire, Police, Transportation and/or Liquor License representatives. The Airport Temporary Activity Permit application fee is $50.

An Airport Property Special Event fee of $.60 per square foot applies for use of airport property, such as ramp space or within the city's Aviation Business Center plaza during events.
