68th Street Bike Lanes

This project will make a series of improvements to 68th Street between Indian School Road and Thomas Road with the goal of improving safety, connectivity, and the quality of life for residents, students and visitors by completing critical north/south regional bike lanes on this major roadway.

68th Street Sidewalk - Arizona Canal to Camelback Road

The city will construct a 6-foot sidewalk on both sides of 68th Street from the Arizona Canal to just south of Camelback Road. The project will provide a consistent paved sidewalk to improve pedestrian movement and safety along this corridor.

Civic Center Mall Master Plan

On May 1, 2018, the Scottsdale City Council approved a Master Plan for the Civic Center area which lays the groundwork for major and minor repairs to infrastructure, the addition of vital amenities, and provides a road map for future improvements as funding becomes available.

DC Ranch Neighborhood Park

DC Ranch Neighborhood Park will be built in two phases. Phase one is currently underway and is scheduled to be complete during the spring of 2022. Planning for phase two is just beginning and this portion of the project is not yet funded.

Downtown Splash Pad

Construction work will begin Sept. 30 on a new splash pad near the Marshall Way Bridge in Old Town Scottsdale. The new splash pad will replace the turf area by the fountain closest to Stetson Dr. on the south approach to the Marshall Way Bridge.

Granite Reef Watershed Drainage and Flood Control Improvement

The primary objective of the Granite Reef Watershed Improvement Project is to eliminate the risk of structural flooding, eliminate the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) floodplain along Granite Reef Wash, and reduce street and yard flooding.
