Employee Values

Scottsdale's Employee Values are an important part of the city's traditions and work culture. The values originated in the 1980's and were last updated by employee focus groups in 2020. Employees who exemplify the Employee Values are recognized during the annual Employee Awards ceremony and receive unique Kachina carvings that represent each employee value. The Kachina carvings are created by Kevin Horace Quannie, Contemporary Hopi Artist, Waterbird Studio, LLC.
