General Facility Availability

  • Tournament reservations are priority. To be considered a "tournament reservation" you must have a minimum of two consecutive full day reservations.
  • In general, lighted fields are available daily from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.; with a max of 4 games per day.
  • No hourly reservations will be accepted for rentals during November & December.

General Reservation Policy

  • Complete Permit request and submit the form online. Reserve it now!
  • Reservations for Tournaments will be accepted beginning on the first business day of the month, 10 months prior to the tournament.
    • Tournaments can be rolled over from year to year, without becoming available to the public, if they meet the following requirements:
      • Full Facility Reservation
      • Minimum of 2 Full Days
      • 100+ Scottsdale Hotel Room Nights
    • The City of Scottsdale reserves the ability to set aside 20% of the available time for public and/or private premier events, such as national and regional tournaments.
    • This “available time” does not include the time designated for “Spring Training” or any scheduled or non-scheduled maintenance.
  • Reservations for Non-Tournament events (games, practices, clinics, camps, etc.) will be accepted on the following dates:
    • Oct. 1 for reservations April through July
    • April 1 for reservations August through October

Rental Requirements

Non-Tournament

  • Minimum field rental is 4 hours.
  • Lighted fields are reserved in two-hour time blocks: 4 - 6 p.m., 6 - 8 p.m., 8 - 10 p.m.
  • Fields are limited to two teams per field.
  • Based on availability, staff may limit the number of reservations per group per season.
  • Reservations must be made a minimum of four weeks prior to permit date.
  • All user groups must have an insurance policy of at least $1,000,000 listing the City of Scottsdale as Additionally Insured on file at the time of reservation.

Tournament

  • Field use may be limited to a certain number of games per day.
  • Reservations must be made a minimum of four weeks prior to permit date.
  • All user groups must have an insurance policy of at least $1,000,000 listing the City of Scottsdale as Additionally Insured on file at the time of reservation.

Fees

  • Non-Tournament:
    • Payment of fees are due in full two weeks after creation of permit.
  • Tournament:
    • Payment of fees are due in full forty-five days prior to use.
    • Deposit of 25% of rental fee is required to make a reservation. These fees are non-refundable and cannot be applied to other facility use permits.

Use Regulations

  • Contact person listed on the permit must be on site the duration of the reservation.
  • All permit holders agree to follow and enforce City of Scottsdale Ordinances, Park Regulations and Scottsdale Sports Complex Rental Guidelines.
  • The permit holder will leave the field clean and in good condition. If it is necessary for the city to provide cleaning following the reserved activity, the permit holder will be charged an additional fee.
  • The licensee is responsible for excessive facility and equipment damages including replacement and installation costs incurred by the licensee or any member of the group subject to the permit.
  • No apparatus or equipment may be located on the sports fields unless the use and location of equipment has received prior approval and the permit so states.
  • No interactive inflatable apparatus or water amenities/games.
  • Painting, striping, chalking, or coloring of the fields in any way is not permitted.
  • Vehicles may not be driven or parked on turf areas, sidewalks, service driveways, or emergency zones. Only parking lots may be used for loading and unloading.
  • Recreation staff is responsible for turning sports field lights on and off. The sale of food & merchandise is not allowed.
  • A Beer Permit must be purchased for the consumption of beer. No hard alcohol or wine is permitted. Beer is NOT PERMITTED on playing fields.
  • No glass bottles.
  • Staking is not permitted. Pop-up tents, umbrellas, goals, etc. must be secured with sandbags.
  • No amplified sound allowed.
  • City personnel has the ability to close fields due to weather, maintenance, or if playability becomes compromised or dangerous. Call 480-312-RAIN (7246) for updated field conditions.
  • No barbecuing. Open fires (including charcoal and propane) are prohibited.
  • The use of signs, banners or decorations cannot be used at practices or league games. Authorized signage can only be displayed during Tournament reservations only.
  • Failure to comply with park regulations may forfeit the right to use city facilities in the future. Permits are revocable at any time for violation of rules, ordinance, or state law.
