This project will make several needed improvements to Thomas Road between 56th Street and 73rd Street. The project will address the maintenance needs of the roadway and replace and/or upgrade water and sewer infrastructure under the road.

Improvements include:
- Reconstruction of the pavement of the roadway
- A new right turn bay at 68th and Thomas
- Replacement of outdated traffic signals
- Enhanced grading and drainage improvements
- Installation of ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps
- Restoration of lane striping to current configuration
A geotechnical evaluation was conducted and determined that this segment of the roadway needs to be rebuilt.
